Back to SaaS work

Passion.io

The email list became a revenue system.

Across two years at Passion.io, I wrote and supported the lifecycle emails behind launches, webinars, Black Friday windows, nurture campaigns, and product education.

$2.4M+Email revenue attributed across the engagement.

The numbers.

The work was not one lucky campaign. Email became a measurable backend revenue channel across multiple launches, webinar paths, promo windows, and nurture sends.

2023$547K in email revenue.
2024$1.13M in email revenue.
2025 partial$768K with revenue per lead at $27.

The biggest win.

The 2024 Black Friday window hit $256K in 30 days. The campaign worked because the emails did not repeat the same discount message. They moved through urgency, offer clarity, proof, objection handling, and timing.

2023 Black Friday$168K.
2024 Black Friday$256K record window.
2025 Black Friday$191K.

The same leads became worth more.

Revenue per lead moved from $13 to $27. The lift came from better segmentation, sharper positioning, stronger webinar follow-up, and a voice subscribers recognized instead of ignoring.

What I owned.

I wrote launch sequences, webinar follow-ups, nurture emails, promo campaigns, Black Friday arcs, AI Coach waitlist emails, subject lines, and messaging frameworks. The strongest source line was webinar follow-up, which generated $1.11M.

Webinar follow-ups$1.11M.
Promo cycles$643K.
Black Friday windows$615K.

The system behind the writing.

The emails were backed by sales calls, support tickets, workshop notes, personas, benefits, objections, desired outcomes, and reusable angle databases. Messaging did not live in one Slack thread. It became a source of truth.

The list became more valuable because the emails became more specific.
"Muddassir has been a key player in crafting some of Passion.io's most impactful marketing campaigns. Whether it was the high-stakes urgency of our Black Friday email launch or the carefully timed sequences for our AI Coach waitlist, he consistently produced copy that impressed our marketing team."
