Which might not seem a lot in USD, but it's more than what 80% of Pakistan's population makes in a year. It could've taken me a lifetime to pay it back with a traditional job.
By every external measure I was supposed to have made it:

Cleared Pakistan's most competitive civil services exam on the first attempt.
I did most things right. It wasn't enough. Or so I thought.
So I chose to start a freelance marketing service online, which was scary, because ~90% of my colleagues from med school went on to Fellowships. I was the only one not following the herd.
Three years later, I've helped move over $10 million in client revenue, $2.4 million of it for one company alone, and built marketing systems for founders, brands, and operators who now treat retention the way I do: as the cheapest growth channel they already own. And yes, I paid off all that debt.
